Now, we know not everyone has direct flooring experience, but that's okay. We're looking for someone with a solid work ethic and experience in and around the construction industry. Our current managers and senior installers started out as painters and roofers, so don't let lack of experience hold you back from this amazing opportunity.
So, do you have what it takes to be the best Sports Timber Flooring Installer in New Zealand? If you're a do-it-right-the-first-time kind of person with a good attitude, then send us your resume and let's get started!
Here's what we’re looking for:
Solid construction/building site experience
A track record of leading a team of workers and comfortable in training younger crew members/labourers onsite.
Someone who leads by example and is hands on as required, whilst still being able to manage the flooring install and onsite stakeholders.
A highly organised person, as you will be responsible for preparing for a job.
Able to communicate well with clients and work mates and be comfortable working both solo and in small teams.
Most importantly, you need to be happy travelling with work and be flexible in your approach and share our values around ethics and integrity. This is big for us!
A keen learner open to adopting our systems and quality standards.
The role will be mainly working on sports timber flooring projects including new floors, line marking, floor coating and maintenance jobs but we also own a seating company so from time to time, you will be asked to jump in and give a hand.
Here’s what’s in it for you:
We’ll pay you well and reward you for hard work and effort. This includes van, phone and away from home allowances.
We invest in good people who want to stay in our business and build a good career.
As we grow, we’ll work with you to build a strong team around you.
We provide onsite training for any skills you are not familiar with (ie. Court Line marking, coating etc)
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be supported in the office by an Admin Coordinator and Business Development Manager (along with our other installers).
A team who are great to work for and to work with who value having fun and doing great work.
